Rapid Deployment: Linking Remote National Water Treatment Sites to Head Office and the Cloud via Managed Starlink.

The challenge of securing high-speed, reliable connectivity for Glanua’s large-scale water project sites scattered across the UK.

/Project Goals/

To provide Glanua with an agile, high-bandwidth communication infrastructure that seamlessly connects temporary UK project sites to their Irish head office and critical cloud solutions.

Glanua required a solution that was fast, portable, and reliable. Existing cellular (LTE) speeds were inadequate and installing fixed leased lines was too slow. The final solution needed to include a Managed Firewall, switching and wireless for security and Head Office visibility, all while being rapidly deployable and robust enough to handle demanding, multi-floor sites.

/Results/

Bandwidth increased by over 100% and latency dropped by 75%, resulting in dramatically increased staff productivity and the successful introduction of a fully managed, secure network. The customer was so impressed with the results of the solution we designed, they asked us to commission a further 4 remote sites

Going beyond standard IT, Meta Eagle delivered a turnkey solution—from custom rooftop mounting with a crane to creating a portable, flight-cased system with 5G failover. Glanua now benefits from real-time analytics and secure connectivity that scales perfectly with their dynamic project pipeline - across sites UK wide
