Following successful prior engagements involving server migration and core network upgrades, ONE Multi Academies Trust once again partnered with Meta Eagle to modernise the remaining edge switching and wireless infrastructure at The Khalsa Academy Wolverhampton (TKAW) and The Atam Academy Romford (ATAM). The existing Cisco 2960X switching and Ruckus wireless environments had reached end-of-life, creating bandwidth bottlenecks and limiting reliability. With the Trust’s academic operations relying heavily on consistent connectivity, an infrastructure refresh was vital to sustain growing digital demands. Meta Eagle designed and executed a comprehensive plan to replace the legacy hardware with a unified Extreme Networks solution, delivering advanced switching and Wi-Fi 6 wireless capability across both campuses. The project was strategically scheduled during the summer break, with limited time available to complete all works before pupils returned — requiring careful coordination, precise logistics, and rigorous quality assurance. This initiative was part of the Trust’s long-term digital transformation journey, ensuring a scalable, resilient network infrastructure capable of supporting modern teaching, learning, and administration across both sites.

Integration with Extreme Cloud IQ enables the Trust’s IT team to monitor performance, manage devices, and proactively resolve issues through real-time visibility and analytics. This enhanced operational insight has significantly reduced downtime risk and improved day-to-day management efficiency. The project was delivered entirely within the short summer window, achieving full readiness for the start of term with no interruption to educational activities. Staff across both campuses have reported stronger, more reliable connectivity, while the Trust’s leadership highlighted Meta Eagle’s professionalism and commitment to delivering excellence.
